About Zach Wysong

Mr. Wysong has more than 20 years of diverse structural engineering experience related to industrial, bulk material handling, oil & gas facility systems and structures. His experience includes facility layout, design, and construction support. Specialties include conceptual development through final structural design, project procurement, and budgeting assistance. As Lead Structural Engineer licensed in 23 states, Mr. Wysong is responsible for supporting clients with permitting, writing specifications, cost estimates, and bid package assembly, which include structural steel and foundation design drawings for many types of industrial, marine, and material handling projects.

Prior to joining InterMat, Mr. Wysong was a Senior Structural Engineer for EDG, Inc. a full-service global consulting firm. As a project lead Engineer of Record, he was responsible for the analysis and design of steel structures and their shallow or deep foundations per local building codes for the construction of bulk material handling facilities and shipping terminals for truck, train, and vessel loadout.

Mr. Wysong began his career designing precast concrete bridges, culverts, and retaining walls for highways and railroads. He has also worked for a large heavy industrial general contractor providing construction engineering.
